Arrest Warrant Issued for Black Child Molesting former U.S. Congressman Mel Reynolds

An arrest warrant has been issued for former Illinois Congressman Mel Reynolds.
Reynolds, who is currently in South Africa caring for his ailing daughter, says he will not comply with a federal judge’s order to return to Chicago.
The former congressman, who has been free on bond in a federal tax case, tells a judge in an open letter that he will be staying in Africa to look after his daughter who he says is suffering from scoliosis and may have cervical caner.
A bench warrant for his arrest has been issued, but the judge has said if Reynolds makes arrangements to return from South Africa soon, the warrant would be rescinded.
Reynolds has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of failing to file income tax returns. His trial is set to get underway in May.
