Chicago police say one man was killed when he became trapped in machinery at an industrial plant in Chicago's South Deering neighborhood.

Police said the accident occurred around 9:45 a.m. at a plant in the 11600-block of South Burley Avenue. Emergency crews responded but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
