A 6-year-old girl was seriously hurt after she fell out of a building Thursday evening in the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The girl fell out of a third-story window in the 6200 block of North Ravenswood Avenue around 10 p.m., said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago police spokesman.

The girl was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital in serious condition, Gaines said.

No other information about the incident was immediately available.
