Ariel Geralds could tell something was wrong as soon as her cousin answered her phone call Thursday night.
"I said, why are you crying? So I FaceTimed her," Geralds said. "I FaceTimed her, and she was crying." She ended the call and sent a text instead.
Her cousin texted back: "My sister's dead."
At about 9:45 p.m., two people in the back seat of a gold Buick LeSabre had opened fire on the 9500 block of South Loomis Street, killing Chanda Foreman and wounding four other people.
