Chicago Police Shoot and KILL a Feral Negro in a Stolen Vehicle on City's South Side
A feral Negro believed to be a male teenager was shot to death by police in a confrontation Thursday night in the South Shore neighborhood, authorities said.
One person was wounded after officers fired near 7400 S. Merrill Ave., said Mia Sissac, a spokeswoman for the Independent Police Review Authority. At least one officer also was injured, but not believed shot.
Authorities said the person shot by police has died of his injuries.
The incident began about 7:30 p.m., when officers curbed a Jaguar that had been stolen from suburban Bolingbrook, said First Deputy Superintendent John Escalante at the scene.
