Negro Violence Strikes Chicago's Chinatown - Multiple people stabbed in Chinatown incident

Multiple people were stabbed in an incident in the Chinatown neighborhood Monday night, authorities said.

Three people were believed to have been stabbed in an incident about 8:15 p.m. in the 200 block of West 23rd Street, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a police spokesman.

One person was taken to Stroger Hospital for treatment from the scene in the 2200 block of South Wentworth Avenue following a report of a person stabbed, according to a Chicago Fire Department spokesman.
