OAK LAWN IL - U.S. (Mailman) Letter Carrier Robbed At Knife Point in Oak Lawn by Feral Negroes

OAK LAWN, IL -- A U.S. Postal Service letter carrier was robbed at knife point late Monday afternoon in Oak Lawn by two young men in their late teens to early twenties. The Oak Lawn Police Department and U.S. Postal Inspection Service are asking for the public’s help in providing information leading to an arrest.
The robbery happened around 4:15 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 10600 block of Lavergne Avenue in Oak Lawn. According to police, both suspects were seen fleeing eastbound on 106th Place towards Cicero Avenue in a dark colored Chevy Impala.
The suspects are described as male blacks in their late teens to early twenties, 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall, with slim builds. One of the suspects was wearing a black skull cap, black puffy coat and dark pants.
The second suspect had jawbone length dreadlocks and was wearing a white jacket with a white jacket that had gold zippers, and black jogging pants.
Anyone having information about the robbery, such as suspicious people or vehicles in the neighborhood, is asked to call the Oak Lawn Police Department at 708-422-8292 or the U.S. Postal Inspection at 312-983-6183. Residents in the area may also want to check home security video and share any images with police and postal inspector.
All tips will be kept strictly confidential. Law enforcement did not indicate if the letter carrier’s personal property or mail was stolen.
