ADRDE Seat Ejection Parachutes & Arrestor Barriers Boon For The IAF

The state-of-the-art military pilot seat ejection parachutes developed by DRDO’s Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE), Agra, proved their utility to the Indian Air Force when on 10 September 2016 a MiG-21 fighter jet of the IAF that had taken off from Uttarlai Air Force Station crashed near Barmer, Rajasthan.
